Congress president Sonia Gandhi was on Sunday discharged from a private hospital here where she underwent surgery for shoulder dislocation. She sustained injuries to her left shoulder during a roadshow in Varanasi.
"Sonia Gandhi's medical condition at the time of discharge from the hospital is stable. She has been advised rest and continuation of medicines," D S Rana, chairman of the board of management of the hospital said in a statement.
"Glad that the Congress president is back," AICC General Secretary Digvijaya Singh tweeted.
