Janata Dal (Secular) state president HDKumaraswamy will tour north Karnataka region for 10 days every month, beginning November 1.
The party will also organise a farmers' convention in Hubballi on November 1 in which Kumaraswamy will list out the problems plaguing north Karnataka and his solutions for them. "If people want, I am ready to contest the next Assembly elections from the region. I will attempt to bridge the gap between the southern and northern parts of Karnataka.
People of this region can bring their grievances to my house in Hubballi at any time. I will urge people to choose the JD(S) in the next elections so that they could be spared of the apathy of national parties," he said. The JD(S) leaders have shortlisted six houses for Kumaraswamy's stay in Hubballi.
