A complaint has been filed with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) against Congress MLCK Abdul Jabbar for converting a 'G' category site into a commercial space.
The complaint has been filed by P Manjesh, stating that the site allotted to Jabbar at HBR Layout, is being used as a commercial shed.
The 'G' category site, measuring 50X80, was allotted to Jabbar at HBR Layout 1st Stage in 2005. Though the Congress leader had requested the site for constructing a house, he constructed a shed and let it out.
The complainant stated that the site, which is presently valued at around Rs 7 crore, has to be restored to the government. A senior official of the ACB said that the complaint has been received and preliminary enquiry will be taken up.
