The question and answer options of the Class IX Physical Training (PT) examination - in Hindi - has gone viral on social media with people questioning the quality and standard of education.
The school in question is the Chacha Nehru Hindi High School at Bhiwandi in Thane district - and the exam was held on October 13.
The question "The name of Virat Kohli's girlfriend is………" had three options "Priyanka", "Anuskha" and "Deepika".
The answers suggest the name of three actresses - Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone.
It is to be mentioned here that over the last few years there had been reports of a romantic link-up between Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.
Speaking to TV channels, the principal of the school, A R Pandey, passed the responsibility for the goof-up on the PT teacher, who set the exam paper.
"He has set the paper…..he is deeply into sports and is the sports teacher also," he said.
