City Police Commissioner NSMegharikh has imposed prohibitory orders under CrPCSection 144 on Monday, in four areas of the city.
The prohibitory orders were imposed in Shivajinagar, Commercial Street, Bharathinagar and Pulikeshinagar, ahead of the BJP's proposed protest rally on Monday to condemn the murder of an RSS worker, Rudresh.
BJP leader and former deputy chief minister RAshoka and MPP CMohan will lead the protest rally from Shivajinagar, which will culminate at the Police Commissioner's office.The police have decided to detain protesters before the procession.
