A 31-year-old Mumbai-based techie went missing under mysterious circumstances near Bellandur on the night of October 10.
Aditya Shrivastava had come down to the city to attend Navaratri celebrations a few days ago. He was residing in the Art of Living ashram located near Kaggalipura, said the police.
On Monday night, he checked out of the ashram and told his friends that he would be leaving for Hyderabad and would call them the next day. But the battery of his mobile phone was low and the phone got switched off.
His friends, who did not receive any call from him, the next day, informed his family members, who had no clue about his whereabouts, added the police.
A senior police officer said, "On Tuesday, Uday, a relative of Shrivastava, approached the Kaggalipura police station and registered a missing complaint. His mobile phone network was last traced to Bellandur, where had gone to board the bus to Hyderabad.
All the police stations including those in the neighbouring states have been informed about the missing person."
Aditya's friends and family members have put up a Facebook post seeking for help and information about Shrivastava.
