In a rain-hit tie at the KSCA Stadium here at Rajnagar, Shivamogga had to win to stay in contention for a semifinal berth. Coming into the tie, Shivamogga had six points from as many games and a victory against the Warriors would have brought net-run rate into equation. However, that was not to be.
