Former BJP MP Navjot Singh Sidhu's political outfit, Awaz-e-Punjab, appears a non-starter, at least for now, ridden by flip-flops ever since its much-hyped announcement.
After having vehemently criticised both the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Sidhus outfit members on Monday said the outfit was open to a dialogue for an alliance with the Congress and the AAP.
Founder members of Sidhus outfit initially maintained that Awaz-e-Punjab will contest all the 117 assembly constituencies in poll bound Punjab, only to eventually retract. Sidhu later said that Awaz-e-Punjab will not be a political party and remain an apolitical outfit for the betterment of Punjab.
