The Pulakeshi Nagar police have arrested four persons in the case related to abducting and mutilating the genitals of an 18-year-old boy recently. The suspects are Tulasiyappan, 58, a resident of Bharathinagar, Anandi, 35, Shreya, 30, and Aishu, 20, all residents of Cox Town. The police have booked them under IPCSections 307 (attempt to murder) and 367 (kidnapping or abducting to subject person to grievous hurt, slavery, etc).
The suspects had kept the victim in Chikkaballapur. He was found working in a public toilet. The police acted on the complaint filed by the victim's parents and rescued him. Later, he was reunited with his mother.
The police said that the boy and Shreya were childhood friends. The police are questioning the suspects to get more details.
