Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the city on Thursday night.
A 25-year-old labourer was killed after the bike he was riding, collided with a tractor, coming in the opposite direction near Kereguddahalli near Jalahalli.
The deceased identified as Sandeep is a native of Koppal and was residing in Kereguddahalli. Sandeep sustained serious injuries in the accident and was shifted to a nearby hospital, but he was declared brought dead.
The Jalahalli traffic police have seized the tractor and are on the look out for the driver.
Pedestrian knocked down
In another accident, a pedestrian was knocked down by a private bus near Ejipura Main Road.
The deceased has been identified as Viveknath (25), a resident of Ejipura. Viveknath was walking on the road, when a private bus speeding towards Domlur, knocked him down.
