Kerala MLAPTThomas's son was grievously injured after the mobike he was riding hit a sports utility vehicle at Heggere, on the outskirts of the town on Saturday.
Police said that Vishnu Thomas (23) was riding the mobike towards Bengaluru when the accident occurred.
He was given first aid at Siddartha Medical College Hospital and later shifted to Baptist Hospital in Bengaluru for further treatment, Superintendent of Police Karthik Reddy told DH. Vishnu is a student of Siddartha Medical College. Rural police have registered a case in this regard.
