A Union minister's husband was on Saturday accused of locking a junior engineer and a contractor tasked with renovating her official bungalow in Lutyen's Delhi.
The junior engineer from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) and the contractor had gone to Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel's residence at C1/29 Pandara Park to complete some pending construction work.
The duo charged that they were locked up in the bungalow as the minister's family accused them of delaying the work. "Tiles didn't come today (Saturday). It will come tomorrow morning. They accused us of delaying the work and then locked us up.
